The Cville Tool Library is a volunteer-driven project. It would not be possible without community support.

Tool donations for the Cville Tool Library will be accepted on an ongoing basis. All in-kind donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

• If you would like to donate tools to help establish our lending library, please let us know through the form below, and one of our volunteers will be in touch.

• If you would like to make a financial contribution that will go toward curated purchase of new tools for our inventory, please make a donation on our donations page.

Please keep the following guidelines in mind as you consider donating tools to the Cville Tool Library:

• All donated tools should be in good condition, functional, and include all parts. Manuals are appreciated! Our space is limited so we appreciate your help in providing useful tools.  
• We cannot accept gas powered tools at this time.
• Tool donations will be accepted during library open hours or by appointment.
• Donated tools become the property of the Tool Library, and donors can receive documentation for tax purposes.

A wide selection of tools in working order is key to making a tool library useful to the community. The tool library will accept tool donations on an ongoing basis, but donated tools are especially important for our start-up phase.
